About Us

Did you know that Cross Hands Hall, Cinema and Community Centre is run by a very small group of volunteers and also, as a charity organisation, has a trustee committee? If it was not for this small group of people, you would not have a local cinema and live theatre venue.

This hall dates back to 1932 and was built by the Miner’s Welfare Institute FOR the community and is still run BY the community. We are not affiliated with any of the multi-plex cinemas and not owned by the Local Authority—please come and support your Welsh history.
